Shri Guru Ravidas Ji was a contemporary of Sant Kabir and Guru Nanak and is revered in Sikhism—his teachings are included in The Guru Granth Sahib- and the Bhakti tradition/sects as someone who fought against rigid socio-economic structure of the Indian society!

The question is rather moot but bears careful thought, debate and reflection: who is the rightful inheritor of the teachings of saints? Everyone!! And, if there is collective amnesia going on, no one!! I give the example of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Adolf Hitler—the former raised Khalsa as the religion of the pure; the latter stood for all-out evil and it is a shame that someone like him was ever born on the face of this Earth!

I promise you and I can already see it coming—the next 10 years are going to see the realization of this fact on Man that "The History of Religion and Re-birth of Holiness" follows a pattern dictated on the lines of branch and bound as given by Quantum Mechanics and Relativity!

In other words, the day is not far, given a true socio-economic perspective, history, and upbringing information, data fed into a computer will spell out the likelihood of your child becoming a god-man!! The computer should also be able to predict to a very true detail whether your child's teachings will be divergent from the faith of his parents or not!

For example, Guru Ravidas Ji mentions the term "Sahaj"—a mystical state where there is a union of truths of many and the one! This is nothing but branch and bound algorithm at work with which researchers worldwide are now trying to see how things like the Krebs or the TCA cycle arose from Quantum Mechanics and Relativity!

To use religion as a socio-economic tool in the war of dominance is nothing new and has been going on since a thousand years—e.g. the schism of the Orthodox and Roman Catholic Churches!

As human population and experience grows and chances upon newer pastures, divergence or branching of spiritual thought is natural, but the truth deep down is that we are all made of human clay and will mold, melt and one day cease! Till then, we make our own choices and hope and pray that our choices make us better humans!
